Enhanced & advanced practice in nuclear medicine

04/04/2011 in Announcement, South West Nuclear Medicine Group meetings, Workforce Development

Colleagues,

In line with ongoing developments impacting on Nuclear Medicine services across the country, the following on-line questionnaire has been developed to act as a ‘snapshot’ highlighting potential current work-related issues and potential future training opportunities.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dEllNTNoY3JmU3pDNVdCeUZMdFRnOVE6MQ

Importantly the questionnaire does not focused on aspects of your role that may be currently deemed fundamental in nature but instead concentrates on areas of practice that appear to be at the forefront of Nuclear Medicine development.  Hopefully your perception of these tasks and how they affect your current working practice will allow us to draw conclusions as to possible demarcations between ‘enhanced’ and ‘advanced’ practice within Nuclear Medicine.

Once you have read the information please feel free to complete the online questionnaire. If possible please can this be completed by Friday 22nd April 2011.

If you would like  any further information related to this project please feel free to contact  either Gary Dawson or Marc Griffiths at the University of the West of England.  Initial findings will be discussed during an Interactive presentation session at the 2011 spring BNMS Annual Conference in Brighton.

Thanks

Gary Dawson & Marc Griffiths
